A lightweight, user-friendly structure, the iron?s open-handle design with soft, nonslip texturing allows for a comfortable fit in any hand. A dial controls temperature settings, and a built-in anti-calcification system helps cut down on mineral buildup. For safety, the iron includes a 3-way automatic shutoff--after 25 seconds if left on its soleplate or side and after 12-1/2 minutes if left on its heel. The translucent 10-ounce water tank has a clearly marked "max" line and is easy to refill, thanks to the included beaker.
