Customer Review: This coffeemaker ROCKS!!!

I wasn't a huge coffee drinker... until buying this coffeemaker that is! It's made waking up in the morning much more pleasant (due to the 24-hour programmable timer); just set the timer, fill with water & coffee grounds & push the button - ahhh! Fresh coffee in the morning! Call me thrilled by the little things, but we had a dated "manual" coffeemaker that finally took a dump, thus turning us on to this perfect brewer. I don't have to get up in the morning just to push the brew button for my wife - it's done for me. Now, if we can get one that loads it's own water and coffee grounds...Anyway, all of the other features are welcomed and work perfect. Here are my faves:
*Programmable auto-shut-off (perfect for busy parents that would tend to forget to push the off button, leaving a scorched carafe)
*Coffee-flow shutoff allowing you to remove the carafe and pour a cup mid-brew (if you just can't wait for the cycle to finish).
*Reusable gold filter basket (saving money and the environment).
*Flavor selector dial (not only to suit your taste preference from mild to strong, but great when low on coffee - allowing one to dial it to the robust setting to "squeeze" every bit of flavor).
*Viewable window to be able to see the water level.
*And, of course, the programmable timer.
It also comes with a water filter that is to be replaced every so many brews, but I haven't used it yet. The coffee tastes great without it.
Easy to clean, easy to operate, and fun! Ultimately, no complaints to mention here.
Oh, yeah, did I mention the wonderful tasting coffee that is brewed? Ummm, Splendid! I didn't think that there would be a difference between coffeemakers, but I could tell the difference immediately... Starbucks who?
(FINAL NOTE: Other reviewers complained about the thin-glassed carafe... let me just say this - quite possibly it's slightly thinner than other carafes, but don't be worried or put off by those reviews. Now while it probably wouldn't survive a drop on a hard floor (show me a glass carafe that would), normal everyday use should be no problem, as I have even "dinged" the carafe against our faucet a handful of times by accident, and it survived. I don't know, perhaps these other reviewers are hammering nails with it. Uh, can someone suggest a hammer?)
